NEMCC hosts free baseball night for children with disabilities

North East Mississippi Community College will host its annual Exceptional Night of Baseball on March 16 at 5:30 p.m. at The Plex. The event is free and open to children in kindergarten and older who face physical or mental barriers that prevent participation in traditional sports, college officials said.

Children will be paired with NEMCC athletes to ensure an enjoyable and supportive experience. The event aims to promote inclusivity and community engagement, organizers said.

Participants can sign up through an online form with a deadline of Feb. 20. Volunteers and donors are also encouraged to get involved to help make the night a success, according to event organizers.
