North East Mississippi Community College will remain closed for the rest of the week and reopen Monday, Feb. 2, according to college officials.
Dormitory students may return to campus. Students are instructed to check in with their dorm proctor upon arrival and complete a dorm information form to confirm their safety.
Cafeteria hours are currently breakfast from 8 to 9 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and dinner from 4 to 5 p.m., college officials said. The Burgess Fitness Center remains open to students and community members.
College officials urged students and staff to continue practicing safety measures and to look out for one another during this period.
