Maniya Kirksey of Northeast Mississippi Community College has been named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Player of the Week.
Kirksey helped the Lady Tigers achieve a perfect 3-0 record during the week, averaging 21.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, according to the school.
Her standout performance included a career-high 31 points in a home victory over Southwest Community College.
The award recognizes her outstanding play during the week and her contribution to the team’s success, officials said.
