Northeast baseball opens conference play with 11-0 win over Coahoma

Northeast Mississippi Community College’s baseball team defeated Coahoma 11-0 in the first game of their conference series, with Hank Eaton throwing a complete game shutout, according to school officials.

The Tigers’ pitcher held Coahoma scoreless throughout the game, helping Northeast secure the win. The teams are scheduled to face off again today, with the second game starting around 4 p.m., at Northeast’s home field, TigerTown.
