Northeast Community College Honors Institute Seeks Motivated Students

Northeast Community College is inviting motivated students to apply for its Honors Institute. The program is designed for students who want to push themselves academically, build close relationships with faculty, and take advantage of unique opportunities that set them apart.

Honors students receive scholarship support that covers course fees, includes an iPad, and provides $500 per semester, continuing after transfer. The program also offers partnerships with organizations that can benefit students long after they leave Northeast, according to college officials.

Admissions are holistic, with the college emphasizing qualities beyond numbers. Officials say they look at the whole student and encourage applicants who are motivated to pursue something bigger.

The priority application deadline is March 15. Interested students can apply at nemcc.edu/honors or email honors@nemcc.edu for more information.
