Northeast Mississippi Community College’s baseball team opened its series with Wallace State with a 13-6 victory Thursday.
Conner McKnatt hit two home runs and drove in seven runs for the Tigers, according to school officials. Kieran Coleman also contributed four RBIs, while Hank Eaton collected three hits in the game.
The second game of the doubleheader is scheduled to start around 4:15 p.m., officials said.
