Adin Shelton of Northeast Mississippi Community College has been named the MACCC Player of the Week, according to the college’s athletic department.
Shelton helped lead the Tigers to a 7-1 record during the week, including wins over two ranked teams. She posted a batting average of .370, with six extra-base hits, 12 RBIs, and 12 runs scored.
The Tigers are part of the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference, and Shelton’s performance was highlighted as a key factor in the team’s success last week.
Her contributions earned her the weekly honor, the college said in a release.
