Northeast Mississippi CC’s Javion Stephen earns all-conference honors

Northeast Mississippi Community College basketball player Javion Stephen has been named to the all-conference team, according to college athletics officials.

Stephen, a sophomore, led the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) in three-pointers made this season. He averaged 14.6 points per game, the highest on his team, and shot over 85% from the free-throw line, officials said.

The guard’s performance helped elevate the Tigers’ offense during the season. His contributions earned him recognition among the conference’s top players, the college announced.

Stephen’s achievements highlight his role as a key player for Northeast Mississippi Community College. The Tigers compete in the MACCC, a regional junior college athletic conference.
