Northeast Mississippi Community College Announces Fine Arts Tryouts

Students at Northeast Mississippi Community College can audition for upcoming Fine Arts programs this spring. Tryouts for drum major, feature twirler, guard, Tiger Dancer, and chorus are scheduled between March and April.

The drum major and feature twirler auditions will be held Saturday, April 11, in the Northeast Band Room. Feature twirler auditions run from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m., followed by drum major auditions from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Guard tryouts will take place the same day, with make-up sessions scheduled for Saturday, April 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bonner Arnold Coliseum.

Similarly, Tiger Dancer tryouts are set for April 11 at the Northeast Band Room, with makeup sessions on April 18. The campus country group will audition April 11 at 9:00 a.m. in Hines Hall Auditorium.

The Northeast Chorus will hold auditions on March 18 and April 8, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Interested students are encouraged to audition for a chance to join the college’s award-winning Fine Arts programs and showcase their talents.
