Northeast Mississippi Community College Holds Auditions for 2026-2027 Fine Arts Program

The Fine Arts Department at Northeast Mississippi Community College is holding auditions this weekend for the 2026-2027 school year. The department is inviting students interested in singing, dancing, acting, or performing to participate.

Audition times are set for Saturday, April 11, at various times throughout the day. Campus Country auditions begin at 9 a.m., followed by guard auditions from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a makeup date scheduled for April 18. Drum major auditions are scheduled for 3:30 to 5 p.m., and feature twirler auditions are from 3 to 3:30 p.m. The Tiger Dancer auditions are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., also with a makeup date of April 18.

The department encourages students to participate and join the tradition of performance at the college. The auditions provide an opportunity for students to showcase their passion and potentially become part of the college’s performing arts community, according to department officials.
