Students at Northeast Mississippi Community College hosted Sealant Day for second graders in Prentiss County. Dental hygiene students applied free cavity-preventing sealants, while nursing students conducted vision screenings and vital checks, according to college officials.
The event aimed to promote oral and overall health among young students. College representatives expressed pride in their students’ efforts to serve the community and support the health of the next generation.
Organizers said the event was part of the college’s ongoing commitment to community service and health education.
