Northeast Mississippi Community College sets new record for 3-pointers in a game

Northeast Mississippi Community College’s women’s basketball team has broken its modern-day record for most three-pointers in a single game for the second time this season, according to school officials.

Maniya Kirksey led the Tigers with an eight-three-pointer performance, finishing with 28 points in the game against Meridian, the school said.

The record-breaking performance highlights the team’s offensive success and Kirksey’s shooting ability. The Tigers are celebrating the achievement on social media, calling it a notable milestone for the program.

The team has not specified whether Kirksey’s eight threes is the most ever in school history or just the most this season, but the accomplishment stands out as a significant feat for the player and her team.
