The Northeast Mississippi Community College softball team jumped from unranked to No. 14 in the first NJCAA regular-season poll, according to the association.
The Tigers will play doubleheaders against Arkansas State Mid-South and Wabash Valley on Friday and Saturday at noon each day at The Plex.
Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team this weekend, which marks a significant rise in the national rankings for the Tigers.
