Northeast Mississippi Community College softball team has moved from unranked in the NJCAA preseason poll to No. 14 in the first regular-season rankings, according to the association.
The Tigers will host doubleheaders at The Plex on Friday and Saturday at noon each day. The games feature matchups against Arkansas State University Mid-South and Wabash Valley College.
Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team this weekend. The Tigers aim to continue their strong start after the notable jump in rankings, according to school officials.
