Northeast Mississippi Community College Softball splits final day at Best of the Best Invitational

Northeast Mississippi Community College softball concluded its participation in the Best of the Best Invitational with a split on its final day.

The Tigers defeated nationally ranked North Iowa Area before losing to Northwest-Shoals in a pitchers’ duel, according to team officials.

The team will return to The Plex on Sunday for a doubleheader against Pellissippi State at 3 p.m., the school announced.
