The Northeast Mississippi Community College softball team bounced back strongly with two run-rule victories over Pellissippi State at The Plex, according to school officials.
In the opening game, Adin Shelton hit four home runs, helping the Tigers secure a commanding win. The team continued their winning streak with a second decisive victory later in the day.
The Tigers are set to continue their schedule on Tuesday with a doubleheader at Motlow State. Northeast Mississippi returns to the road for the next series, according to team updates.
