Northeast Mississippi Community College’s Dontae’ Jones to join NJCAA Hall of Fame

Northeast Mississippi Community College announced that Dontae’ Jones, a former All-American and NBA draft pick, has been selected for the NJCAA Men’s Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

Jones, who played college basketball at Northeast Mississippi, is recognized as one of the best to wear the school’s black-and-gold colors. His accomplishments include earning All-American honors and being drafted by the New York Knicks.

The enshrinement ceremony is scheduled for this summer, according to the college. Jones’s induction highlights his notable contribution to college basketball and his successful career beyond the college level.
