Northeast Mississippi Community College softball scored the last eight runs of the game to rally for a 9-6 victory over Frontier, according to a team spokesperson.
The comeback came after Frontier held an early lead. Northeast was able to turn the game around in the late innings to secure the win.
The team wraps up its weekend schedule at 2:30 p.m. with a game against Mineral Area at The Plex. The game is part of Northeast’s ongoing season, which has included a series of weekend contests.
