Northeast Way Award Honors Nurse Educator for Dedication and Compassion

Dr. Kristy Church has been named this month’s recipient of the Northeast Way Award, recognizing individuals who go above and beyond to support others. The award highlights her dedication to her students and her community.

According to her nomination, Dr. Church is always willing to help students and others in need. One nominee said, “I am beyond blessed to have had her as a nursing instructor.” Her efforts are driven by a deep sense of purpose and passion for her profession and Northeast Mississippi Community College.
