Those who need to purchase hunting or fishing licenses can do so online at outdoors.ms, through the mobile app, or by calling 1-800-5go-hunt, the agency said.
To report hunting or fishing violations, individuals are advised to call 1-800-BE-SMART or visit outdoors.ms.
The agency reminded the public to plan ahead for licensing needs and to report violations promptly during the closure.
