Prentiss County investigator injured in traffic stop collision

Prentiss County Investigator Kolby Knight was hit by a vehicle while conducting a traffic stop on Highway 371 north of Marietta, according to authorities.

He was transported to a Tupelo hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. Officials say Knight is alert and talking, but medical staff are still assessing his injuries.
