Prentiss County man arrested for trespassing, meth possession

Prentiss County Constable Bryon Parker arrested Robert Ernest Tynes, 58, of Booneville on April 8, 2026, for trespassing after notice at August Circle Apartments, according to authorities.

During the arrest, Constable Parker found Tynes in possession of methamphetamine, police said. Tynes was placed on a $5,000 bond by Prentiss County Justice Court Judge Craig Bishop.

North Mississippi Narcotics Agent Grady Smith will present the case to a grand jury. At the time of his arrest, Tynes was on probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
