Prentiss County sheriff’s deputies responded to a disturbance at 1 County Road 1020 on Feb. 1, 2026, according to authorities. Deputy Ethan Hester contacted a male individual at the scene.
The individual was identified as Tristan Bryant Fugitt, 23, of Booneville. Authorities said Fugitt was found in possession of a firearm and is a convicted felon.
Fugitt was charged on Feb. 2 with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. A judge set his bond at $7,500, according to court records. Investigator Aaron Stolz will present the case to the next Prentiss County grand jury, officials said.
