The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with the Prentiss County TRIAD to host the annual Senior Citizens Appreciation Day. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Booneville First Methodist Church Family Life Building.
Everyone is invited to attend the event, which aims to honor senior citizens in the community. Organizers are currently raising funds to cover event expenses and are accepting donations of prizes to distribute to attendees, according to a news release.
Vendors interested in setting up tables can contact Kim Smith at 662-728-2002 to reserve a space at no cost, the release said. Organizers advised the public to stay tuned for additional updates about the event.
