Thomas Long places second at North District FFA Public Speaking contest

ITAWAMBA, Miss. — Thomas Long earned second place in the Senior Prepared Public Speaking competition at the North District FFA Contest held at Itawamba Community College.

Long’s performance qualifies him to compete next month at the state level in Raymond, Mississippi, according to FFA officials.

The contest is part of the annual FFA event, which promotes leadership and communication skills among students involved in agricultural education.
