The Booneville Water Department announced that a water leak has been identified at the intersection of George E. Allen Drive and Ninth Street on the west side of Booneville.
The department has called 811 to locate underground utilities before beginning repairs. A service outage is anticipated during the repair process.
Updates regarding the schedule and restoration will be posted on the city’s Facebook page, according to the department.
