Six members of the Baldwyn Bearcat Band attended a summer band camp at Northeast Community College in Boonville, Mississippi, from June 7 to 11, according to school officials.
Participants included Mr. Joshua Gregory, Mikaela Jones, Justin Baldwin, Aubrey Jones, Derek Lowery, and band director Mr. Kelvin Hill. They worked to develop new skills and represented the band with pride, officials said.
School officials praised the students for their hard work and dedication during the camp. The event aimed to enhance students’ musical abilities and teamwork.
“Great job to everyone involved,” the school said in a statement. The school also used the hashtag #heartofabearcat to celebrate the students’ achievements.
