Booneville Announces July 4th Trash Collection Schedule and Guidelines

The City of Booneville has issued a reminder about trash collection schedules and policies ahead of the July 4th holiday. Since Independence Day falls on a Saturday, there are no changes to the weekly trash pickup schedule, according to city officials.

Waste Connections, the city’s waste service provider, emphasizes that only trash contained in a designated trash cart and up to two 33-gallon bags placed beside the cart will be collected. Residents are advised to have their trash out by 6 a.m. on collection days. Break down boxes inside the trash cart to maximize space.

Residents who need an additional trash cart can contact Booneville Gas & Water at 662-728-6259 to request one. The city has posted graphics with guidelines for trash policies available for personal reference on Waste Connections and the Street Department’s websites.

For questions about trash collection policies, residents are encouraged to contact Booneville City Hall at 662-728-5601, extension 1.
