Booneville Storm Debris Removal Nears Completion
The city of Booneville announced Wednesday that debris removal from recent storms is 95% complete. Crews are finishing a second pass across the city to safely clear storm debris and restore neighborhoods, according to officials.
City officials said more than 200,000 cubic yards of debris have been collected so far. Residents are encouraged to report any remaining storm debris, specifically from Ice Storm Fern, by contacting Booneville City Hall at 662-728-5601, extension 1.
City Hall officials expressed appreciation for residents’ patience and cooperation as recovery efforts continue. They emphasized the importance of working together to keep the community safe and moving forward.
