CTED officers receive promotions, strengthening public safety efforts
Several officers from the Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection (CTED) have received promotions, the agency announced Monday. The moves highlight the officers’ commitment to public safety and their roles within the department.
Master Sergeant Cody Crum was promoted to CTED Troop F, while Master Sergeant Justin Thomas received a promotion to CTED Troop H. Master Sergeant Joseph Ayers advanced within the CTED Special Operations Group. Lieutenant Michael Recio was promoted to CTED Troop C District Supervisor, and Lieutenant Dustin McGee also joined the Special Operations Group at a higher rank.
Major Andrew Dellapenna was elevated to the role of CTED Director of Administrative and Special Operations. Department officials congratulated the officers for their achievements, emphasizing their ongoing contributions to community safety.
“Your dedication and commitment continue to strengthen our agency and the communities you serve,” the department said in a statement.
