The Hickory Flat Invitational will take place at Blue Mountain on Wednesday, according to organizers. The event features races for both girls and boys teams from Bearcat High School.
The girls race begins at 8 a.m., followed by the boys race at 9:20 a.m., organizers said. The event is part of the team’s season and draws participants from across the region.
School officials shared a social media post encouraging fans to support the teams, using the hashtag #heartofabearcat.
