Jones takes lead at Northeast Invitational as NEMCC rivals struggle in second round

Northeast Mississippi Community College’s golf team entered the second round of the Northeast Invitational tied for the lead after the first day. However, Jones surged ahead to take the top spot heading into the final day, according to team sources.

Emil Grossmann shot a 68 in the second round, the best score among the Tigers. Olof Behle maintained an even-par score overall, keeping his position in the tournament, the sources said.
