Mississippi archery season opens October 15

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks is urging hunters to enjoy a safe and fun archery season. The Southeast Unit archery season opens October 15.

The department recommends hunters locate a wildlife management area near them. More information about WMAs can be found on the department’s website at mdwfp.com.

MDWFP officials remind hunters to follow all safety guidelines and regulations during the season.
