Mississippi Driver Service Bureau honors top employees and stations

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety’s Driver Service Bureau held its annual General Assembly and training session earlier this week. The event included recognition of notable employees and stations across the state for their dedication and professionalism.

During the event, Captain Timothy Simmons and Mimzie Dennis from the Texas Department of Public Safety spoke to attendees, sharing insights and experiences. The department also awarded individuals and stations for achievements such as fastest transaction times, outstanding customer service, and increased organ donor registrations.

Individual awards included Cassandra Marsh as Assistant Manager of the Year, Teshia Johnson as CDL Employee of the Year, and Ruth Evans for the 2025 Customer Service Award. Other honors went to Quanza Harper as Employee of the Year, Amy Fortenberry as Manager of the Year, and Tommie Taylor for longest service. The department also recognized employees with the most completed TalentLMS courses, shortest wait times, and highest organ donor registration percentages.

Station awards highlighted excellence in efficiency and service, with Canton Station recognized for fastest transaction times, Corinth Station for fast transaction and wait times, and Greenville Station for decreased wait times. Kiln Station received recognition for organ donor registration efforts, while Jackson Station was acknowledged for handling the most transactions annually.

Department officials expressed pride in their team’s achievements and reaffirmed their commitment to providing high-quality service to the public every day.
