Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves and First Lady Elee Reeves hosted Cadet Class 70, as the group prepares to graduate. A total of 54 cadets remain in the program and are getting ready to serve the people of Mississippi, according to a statement from the department.
The department praised the cadets for their dedication, discipline, and commitment to public safety. The statement also expressed gratitude to the training officers, or TAC officers, for their hours of training and leadership in shaping the next generation of law enforcement officers.
