Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves on Monday thanked President Donald Trump and his administration for their support in the state’s recovery from a recent storm.
Reeves said the federal declaration will strengthen recovery efforts and provide additional aid to Mississippians. He also noted that the state will continue to assist communities impacted by the storm for as long as necessary.
Reeves added, “I’m grateful to President Trump and his administration for assisting Mississippi as we recover from the storm. We continue praying for every community impacted.”
