Officials from the Mississippi Department of Public Safety welcomed Mr. Slater during his visit, as he continues his effort to meet 1,000 law enforcement officers. The visit included a game of hide-and-seek with K-9 Diesel and interactions with department personnel.
Slater also added several new patches to his collection during the event. Department representatives expressed appreciation for his visit and said they are honored to be part of his journey.
