Mississippi Wildlife Agency Shares Clues to Native Species
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks posted photos and clues about a native species found throughout the state.
According to the department, the animal is mostly active at dawn and dusk, is an excellent climber and stealth hunter, and typically weighs between 15 and 35 pounds.
The department encouraged the public to guess the species and drop their answers in the comments. The photo was credited to Michael A. Kelly.
