The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks took part in the American Cancer Society’s annual clay shoot on Saturday. The agency served as a Pink Vest Sponsor, supporting cancer awareness and research.
MDWFP’s team had a successful day on the range, finishing in third place overall. Gary Holcomb, an employee of the department, was named the overall shooter, according to a social media post from MDWFP.
The event aims to raise funds for cancer research and patient support services. MDWFP officials expressed pride in participating and supporting the cause.
