Mississippi has secured two national awards for economic development, including a Gold Shovel Award from Area Development, according to a post from Gov. Tate Reeves.
The awards recognize billions of dollars in private capital investment and thousands of new high-paying jobs across the state, Reeves said.
Reeves credited the state’s conservative policies and workforce for the positive results, emphasizing continued momentum in economic growth.
