Holly Springs resident Starlandria Walton and Rienzi resident Alissa Cook are the first recipients of the Mark Lothenore Memorial Scholarship at Northeast Community College.
The scholarship, funded by the Tristate Providers Network, aims to support nursing students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and financial need. It honors Mark Lothenore’s legacy of compassion and service, college officials said.
