Northeast Launches Evening and Weekend Practical Nursing Program

Northeast Community College has opened enrollment for its new evening and weekend Practical Nursing (LPN) program. The program aims to accommodate students balancing work, family, and other commitments.

Classes will be held three nights a week from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to college officials. Admission is competitive, and seats are limited.

The application deadline is July 14. Minimum requirements include an ACT score of 17, a 2.0 GPA, and completion of Anatomy & Physiology I and II prerequisites, college officials said.
