Northeast Mississippi Community College Officer Reads to Preschoolers in Early Childhood Program

Campus police officer Jeremy Pace spent the morning reading to preschoolers enrolled in Northeast Mississippi Community College’s Early Childhood Education Technology program. The program allows students to earn a two-year degree while gaining classroom experience.

Graduates of the program often find employment as private childcare providers, preschool teacher’s aides, public pre-kindergarten teachers, kindergarten assistants, childcare center directors, Head Start teachers, and nannies, according to college officials.
