Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers finish fourth at Freed Speed Invitational

The Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers started their new season with a fourth-place finish at the Freed Speed Invitational, according to school officials.

Four freshmen contributed to the team’s score, including Nathanael Wilbanks, who finished as the top scorer with a time of 16 minutes, 54.4 seconds.

The team competed at the event in what was considered a strong start to the season, officials said.

The Tigers are set to continue their season with upcoming meets later this fall.
