Eliza Whitenton of Northeast Mississippi Community College volleyball was named the MACCC Offensive Player of the Week, the school announced.
Whitenton set a new program record for most kills in a single match with 25 during the Tigers’ conference-opening win over Itawamba Community College.
The victory marked a strong start to the season for Northeast Mississippi, with Whitenton’s performance highlighting her offensive prowess, according to the school.
The award recognizes her outstanding contribution on the court, the school said.
