The Northeast Tigers overcame an early deficit to defeat Itawamba 11-8 in the Region 23 softball tournament, according to the school’s athletics department.
The Tigers mounted a comeback in the late innings to secure the win and advance to face Jones, ranked sixth nationally, in 20 minutes.
