Northeast’s Hands-On Approach Prepares Students for Real-World Careers

Jaxson Laster is proof of the effectiveness of Northeast Community College’s career-focused programs. As one of the first graduates of the college’s Logistics Management Technology program, Laster’s education extended beyond the classroom.

Through hands-on training and an apprenticeship with Hago Automotive, Laster gained real-world experience, including a six-week international exchange in Germany. His education helped him land a position as a Quality Engineer for Hago Automotive, focusing on program launch and PPAP processes.

Northeast emphasizes preparing students for the workforce through industry partnerships, practical training, and experiential learning. College officials say this approach helps students translate classroom knowledge into career readiness.
