Ole Miss baseball will head to Omaha to compete in the College World Series, the school announced Thursday.
The Rebels advanced after winning the College Station regional and the Coral Gables super regional, according to the university.
This marks the team’s first appearance in the College World Series since 2014. The Rebels will face off against top-ranked teams in the tournament, aiming for their first national championship.
Ole Miss fans are celebrating the team’s achievement, with many expressing pride on social media. The series is scheduled to begin later this month.
