Parents and students are encouraged to check backpacks and homes for overdue library books from Bessie Elementary School and Bessemer High School. Several books remain checked out, according to school officials.
Mrs. April McCreary at BES and Mrs. Karen Watson at BHS are asking for these books to be returned as soon as possible. Returning overdue books helps maintain accurate inventory and allows other students to check out those materials.
School officials thanked families for their cooperation in ensuring the library collections are complete and accessible for all students.
