Phi Theta Kappa members donate $2,700 to North Mississippi Red Cross
Members of Northeast Mississippi Community College’s Iota Zeta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa recently donated $2,700 to the North Mississippi Chapter of the American Red Cross.
KC Grist, executive director of the Red Cross chapter, visited the campus to accept the donation, according to a college news release.
College officials praised the students for their community service efforts. The donation aims to support the Red Cross’s ongoing disaster relief and community programs, the release said.
Phi Theta Kappa members have a history of engaging in service projects, and this contribution continues their commitment to community involvement, the release added.
